Request a review

Send the documents and your signing date. We reply within two business days with what a review would cover on that project and whether it is worth the fee.

How we are set up:

  • We act on the owner’s side only
  • No fee is tied to what the review concludes
How to reach us

Three steps, then the documents

The form on the right takes about a minute. Nothing you type is stored on this site and nothing is sent to a third party.

The last step opens a message in your own mail client with every answer filled in. You attach the set there and send it, so your project documents never pass through anybody else on the way to us.

If you would rather skip the form, email us directly with the set attached. That works just as well and we read both the same way.

  1. 01Project
  2. 02Documents
  3. 03You
Step one, the project

What are we being asked to read, and by when.

Step two, the documents

Tick what you hold today. A document that does not exist yet is itself a finding, so send what you have rather than waiting.

Attach documents

Attach what you can share now. The files come only to us and are not stored on the website. A larger set, or material you would rather not email, can wait: tick it above and we will confirm how to send it in the reply.

Step three, who you are

Who we reply to, and from which side of the contract.

We reply within two business days with what a review would cover on that project and whether it is worth the fee. If it is not, we say so.

By submitting this form, you agree that Corven & Ashby may use your information to respond to your inquiry and evaluate a potential engagement. Please review our Privacy Policy.

What to attach
The draft GMP amendment The schedule of values The qualifications list The drawing set The specification The baseline schedule The procurement log The trade package scopes

Send what you have rather than waiting until the set is complete. A document that does not exist yet is itself a finding, and we would rather tell you that early.

What happens next

Four steps, and you can stop after the second

Nothing is chargeable until you have a written scope and a fixed fee in front of you.

You send the documents

By email, in whatever form you hold them. We will sign a confidentiality agreement first if you would rather, and we will sign yours rather than insist on ours.

01

We reply within two business days

With what a review would cover on this project, which module we would run first, and a fixed fee. If there is not enough time before your signing date to be useful, we say that instead.

02

You decide

No fee is payable to this point and there is nothing to decline. Stopping here is a reasonable outcome and we will not chase you.

03

We read, then we call

The register and the memo arrive before your signing date, and we walk them through with you on one call. No presentation deck.

04
Before you write

Questions owners ask

If your question is not here, put it in the email. We answer before we quote.

How much notice do you need?

Two weeks before your signing date is comfortable. One week is workable on a single module. Less than that and we will usually tell you the review cannot change anything in time.

Will you sign a confidentiality agreement?

Yes, as a matter of course, and we will sign yours rather than insist on ours. The documents stay with the engagement and the deliverables are not reused.

Is the first conversation chargeable?

No. You get a written scope and a fixed fee before anything is payable, and we will say so plainly when a review would not pay for itself.

Can we talk before sending documents?

You can. It is a shorter conversation, because until we see the set we can only describe the method rather than say anything useful about your project.

What if we are outside the United States?

Ask. The method travels, the contract forms do not always, and we will say plainly if we are not the right firm for a jurisdiction rather than find out on your fee.
